ZIEGLER INC Service Coordinator in FORT DODGE, Iowa

Ziegler Cat has an opening for a full-time Service Coordinator to help provide administrative support for the service team. We are looking for a dedicated employee with mechanical aptitude, excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills to help support our growth. The Service Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support for service operations personnel. They also manage the majority of related work order and clerical responsibilities involved in service repair operations.less thanp>less than/p>less thanp>less than/p>less thanp>less thanb>Responsibilities:less than/b>less than/p>less thanul>less thanli>Answers phones and assists with walk-in customersless than/li>less thanli>Initiates and opens all shop work orders with proper segmentationless than/li>less thanli>Closes the majority of shop work orders, as necessaryless than/li>less thanli>Maintains and codes work orders as necessary for proper billingless than/li>less thanli>Monitors all work orders from open to close/invoiceless than/li>less thanli>Reviews all work orders daily to assure that status is currentless than/li>less thanli>Reviews and approves daily labor hoursless than/li>less thanli>Reviews all possible warranty jobs to determine if warranty appliesless than/li>less thanli>Assists with work order maintenanceless than/li>less thanli>Handles COD collectionsless than/li>less thanli>Maintains any needed paperwork pertaining to work ordersless than/li>less thanli>Files work orders - including sending documents to be scanned into archive systemless than/li>less thanli>Ensures that work orders and requisitions are coded properlyless than/li>less thanli>Obtains necessary purchase order information from customers to invoice work ordersless than/li>less thanli>Maintains file on purchase orders and canceled purchase ordersless than/li>less thanli>Assists in parts warehouse as necessaryless than/li>less thanli>Schedules and maintains records on safety training, vehicle inspections, etc.less than/li>less thanli>Enters SIMS (part causing failure information)less than/li>less thanli>Manages outside purchases (Code purchase orders, charge out to work orders, etc)less than/li>less thanli>Monitors reports for managers on: Last date of labor on work orders, PIP/PSP campaigns, work order labor, etc.less than/li>less thanli>Works in a cooperative manner with coworkers and superiorsless than/li>less than/ul>less thanp>less thanbr>less thanbr>less thanb>Qualifications:less than/b>less than/p>less thanul>less thanli>High School Diploma or GED; 2 year degree preferredless than/li>less thanli>Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player to support the service departmentless than/li>less thanli>Personal Attributes: Attention to Detail, Efficiency, Planning and Organization, Commitment / Dependability, Teamworkless than/li>less thanli>Excellent customer service skillsless than/li>less thanli>Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suiteless than/li>less thanli>Mechanical aptitude; experience in heavy equipment, agriculture, or automotive a plusless than/li>less than/ul>less thanp>less than/p>less thanp>less than/p>less thanp>less thanb>Minimum Physical Requirements:less than/b>less than/p>less thanul>less thanli>Standing, walking, sitting, using hands, talking, hearingless than/li>less thanli>Working Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor.
