Change Manager

Randstad is seeking qualified candidates for an exciting opportunity as a Change Manager that will play a key role in ensuring the implementation of initiatives for our client's production sites meet objectives and realize benefits.

This is a contract opportunity with our client, who is a global leader in the field of agriculture and biotechnology.

In this role you will focus on the people side of change, including changes to processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be implementing a change management strategy and plan inclusive of all key change levers: communication, engagement, stakeholder management, training, coaching and mentoring, and reinforcement.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead MPS change management initiatives at sites during MPS implementation, in coordination with site leads and other implementation project leaders

  • Develop understanding of implementation methodology and recommended change management strategy

  • Create, review and refine content to be leveraged in organization-wide

  • Develop and execute change management action plan, adapting recommended strategy and inclusive of all change levers: communication, training, stakeholder management and engagement, coaching and mentoring and reinforcement and rewards.

  • Conduct relevant analysis at the site: Gather key cultural and change readiness insights (through in-depth 1-on-1 interviews, focus groups and surveys) from leadership and operators/technicians at select sites

  • Measure and report change progress throughout the site implementation, e.g. new behaviors, adoption of new practices and follow up after the implementation to ensure continuing adoption and sustainment

  • Coach site leadership, as needed, in partnership with HR and in accordance with expectations outlined in change leadership competency

  • Tailor training documentation to address site specific practices, based on Globally-designed MPS training

  • Deliver training related to leading change and/or facilitate the delivery of training by subject matter experts

  • Build a high-impact change champion network or leverage existing networks

  • Recognize risks to the change and develop and implement action plans

  • Develop Executive Summary of project progress and benefits delivered, at the site

  • Lead and facilitate communication/change milestone reviews and workshops during MPS implementation

Expectations :

  • 2018 Production System implementation occurring at Grinnell, IA Can live in area or travel to site.

  • Time Commitment: Full Time at sites during 6-month site implementation, 4 days on site from Monday morning thru Thursday with the potential to coordinate remotely on Fridays

  • Travel during outside of implementation will be minimal and as needed for project requirements

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 7+ years of relevant experience

  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts with demonstrated results

  • Ability to tailor change messaging and communication channel to identified stakeholder
