The East Mills CSD is in search of a Strat 1 Special Education Teacher for East Mills Secondary for the 2024-25 school year. East Mills is seekingcandidates who have a clear understanding of their purpose and have a strong desire to build relationships in order to make an impact on students' lives.Extracurricular assignments may be available based upon interest and qualifications of the applicant.
$3,000 Hiring Bonus will be paid over the course of two years.East Mills is an EOE/AA employer.
Education:
- Valid Iowa Teacher License
Primary Roles:
- To provide individualized programming/instruction for students with various disabilities, and provide students with learning opportunities that develop positive attitudes toward self, individuals, and groups of all ages. To teach/work collaboratively with general education instructors to instruct students in learning strategies and to assist students in becoming more independent learners to enhance student learning, promote the overall efficiency of the school system, and maximize the educational opportunities available to each child.
