Hills Bank Systems Administrator 2 in Hills, Iowa
SCHEDULE: Full-time; Monday-Friday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm) on-call nights/weekends as needed.

SCOPE:
This position works under general supervision and direction and are responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading systems along with providing general assistance for business related applications. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft technologies needed. This position will assist in system infrastructure planning and implementation, service and security issues, and review process and procedures to ensure server systems are available and functioning at necessary performance levels.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Work within an ITIL/ITSM based operations environment
Adherence to configuration management and change control policies
Ensure availability of systems and applications
Ensure recoverability of systems and applications through backups and testing
Works directly with internal customers, project managers, and external/3rd party vendors on technology solutions
Resolves daily issues that impact various teams and overall business objectives
Ensures systems availability is clearly communicated in advance of maintenance windows
Provide 2nd/3rd level support by owning and addressing issues, questions, and problems
Ensure system and application security through regular reviews, vulnerability management, and patching processes
Participation in on-call, after-hours support rotation
After hours/weekend availability for scheduled maintenance activities
Other duties may be assigned
EDUCATION AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Associates degree or five to seven years Systems Administrator experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Advanced Microsoft Windows Server administration with following core Microsoft technologies preferred (Exchange, SQL, IIS, Active Directory)
Experience with cloud-based services (e.g. Azure, AWS, public/private cloud)
Experience working with incident tracking/ticketing systems
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to gather, interpret, document, and evaluate server requirements
Ability and initiative to learn about new technologies, hardware and software products and related to how the new services would benefit the company
Valid driver's license.
