Aventure Staffing Entry-Level Machinist in Humboldt, Iowa
$13.50/hr, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm, Advancement Opportunities May Be Available!
Aventure Staffing is seeking skilled and efficient candidates to fill this Entry-Level Machinist position for our client in Humboldt, IA! This position offers a great work schedule with day shift hours! The ideal candidate possesses the skills to interact with others professionally to resolve quality issues, possesses great time management and organization skills and has the drive to create great quality product! Those who have experience working with lathe, mills and machine operation are encouraged to apply!
Entry-Level Machinist Responsibilities:
Work efficiently as a productive team member while producing quality work in each and every order
Comply with and promote company practices in the areas of (Safety, Quality, Efficiently, Cost and Team)
Visual Inspections of parts for defects or abnormalities
Operation of manual mill and lathe
Assembly work with use of hand tools: hammer, punch, grinders
Sanding parts
Operation of automatic band saw
Forklift Operation
Demonstrated computer kills
Sorting parts and general cleaning of work area
Perform other duties as assigned

Starting Pay: $13.50/hr ($540 each week!*)
Paid Every Friday!

Entry-Level Machinist Requirements:
Experience with lathe, mills and hand tools
The ability to operate machinery and hand tools
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Possess time management and basic computer skills
Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds frequently
High School diploma or equivalent
At least one year of related experience required
