Danaher`s Water Quality Business is a global leader in water quality analysis and treatment, providing instrumentation and disinfection systems to help analyze and manage the quality of ultra-pure water, portable water, wastewater, groundwater and ocean water in residential, commercial, industrial, and natural resource applications. Our water quality business provides products under a variety of brands, including HACH, ChemTreat, and Trojan Technologies.

Position summary:

The Global Product Manager, Instrumentation, will work cross-functionally to drive one of Hach’s highest strategic priorities by launching and growing software products that increase the value of, and differentiate, Hach’s market-leading portfolio of instruments! These instruments help water professionals more efficiently manage their water treatment processes and meet regulatory requirements.

This role will define the future vision of the Instrument Management segment of the Claros Water Intelligence System business at Hach; this includes handling aspects of Marketing, Portfolio Development & Management, Global Commercialization and Product Lifecycle Management.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Oversee a product portfolio to and actively develops product strategies and roadmap

  • Leads the commercialization of new products and product enhancements

  • Set pricing and develop sales forecasts for all products

  • Analyze product portfolio performance, including revenue, profitability, volume, price and quality and converts analysis into key takeaways and actions

  • Manage actual sales to meet or exceed the forecast

  • Lead competitive analysis and research of competitors;

  • Planning and execution of voice of customer (VOC) research

  • Translate product feedback from customers and internal stakeholders to business requirements and then works cross functionally to decompose requirements to features for software development

  • Represent the company at regional and national trade shows and other marketing/ commercial events as identified

Key working relationships include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Global Marketing Team

  • Regional Sales Team

  • Research & Development Team

  • Global Services Team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in product management/marketing

  • Experience developing and implementing business/product/marketing plans

  • Experience in market segmentation techniques, market research and analysis tools

  • Experience with software/SaaS products; Agile and SAFe a plus

  • Prior experience successfully developing and launching software products a plus

  • Technical Background (Software, Computer Science, Engineering) and/or knowledge of science and applications related to the water analysis industry helpful but not required

The salary range for this role is 94K - 120K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
