Applicants will be considered for both tenured and non-tenured track positions.The Carver College of Medicine is part of a major research university and ranks 10th among public universities in external research funding. The Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center is a National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center that collaborates closely with the College and the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. The hospital is one of the largest university-owned teaching hospitals in the United States and is adjacent to the Iowa City Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The Department of Internal Medicine is the major teaching and predominant research department in the Carver College of Medicine.
