Carver College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry is currently recruiting Associate(s)(non-track), Assistant Professor(s), Associate Professor(s), or Professor(s) for Clinical (Non-Tenure) and Tenure Track positions. The UI Department of Psychiatry has a long tradition of excellence in research, a well-developed research infrastructure, and ample patient populations that support efforts in a variety of areas of investigation. These include studies in neuroimaging, genetics, epidemiology, psychopharmacology, neuropsychology, and basic neuroscience. The Department of Psychiatry is made up of more than 90 full-time faculty members who provide national and international leadership across a range of psychiatric areas, such as child psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, eating disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, medical psychiatry, and community psychiatry.The University of Iowa, Department of Psychiatry offers competitive salary, excellent benefits, and a collegial professional environment.
