Iowa Lions Eye Bank is seeking highly motivated, independent recovery technicians. The role of the recovery technician is to perform the recovery of human ocular tissue for the purposes of both transplantation and for research/educational purposes. Technicians work independently, traveling to hospitals, funeral homes, and medical examiners offices throughout the Iowa City/Coralville area to complete the recovery procedure. A small team of recovery personnel rotate on-call shifts to provide 24 hour daily coverage throughout the year.
