Under direct supervision, the Temporary Food Worker I performs a variety of tasks involved in the service of food and beverages for Catering and Hancher events including busing, cocktail and table service, event setup, and clean up.Duties to include:Ensure that assigned event space is ready for service prior to guest arrival.Responsible for setup, service, and cleanup of catered events.Respond to inquiries from customers in a positive and professional manner.Assembles, labels, stores, and issues foods as ordered or required to service areas at prescribed times.Performs sanitation duties by maintaining and cleaning, serving, dining and kitchen areas during and after service and/or food preparation.Assists with inventory control and ordering of foods and supplies.Assist in on-the job training of students and other assigned personnel in the preparation of menu items.POSITION BASICS:Hourly Rate/Range: $14.50WORK SCHEDULE:Hours: Varied work schedule based on operational need.
