The project will focus on developing appropriate curriculum based on a variety of language, cognition, and basic exposure needs, marketing the programming, recruiting volunteers to support the programming, and collaborating with other community-based organizations to increase the impact of digital skills literacy in Polk and Jasper counties.This role will work from our Des Moines Goodwill Career Connection Center. Goodwill of Central Iowais Career Connection Centers are one-stop shops for career development and job search assistance. We provide free services to help individuals get a job, earn a better job, and gain the skills needed for a rewarding career. This year long project will have you discovering best practices, developing strategy and executing a digital skills campaign that helps us reach more job seekers and employers. The key objective will be to develop curriculum and effective strategies for engaging employers, job seekers and community partners.
