Under minimal supervision, performs clerical office duties such as document processing, report preparation, and data retrieval and filing; responds to technical or escalated issues and assists less experienced staff; analyzes or interprets information of intermediate difficulty and draws upon knowledge of procedures and individual judgment in the performance of tasks; and researches or resolves technical and complex problems within a field of expertise following prescribed procedures.


Verifies the accuracy and completeness of data submissions and forms; enters data into appropriate system or processes forms according to standard procedures. Receives, researches and interprets documentation for the purpose of completing transactions (i.e. loan settlements, purchase agreements, regulatory filings, legal documents, etc.) following defined procedures. Contacts customers outside of the work area and receives incoming inquiries; resolves technical and complex problems within field of expertise. Performs analysis of complex nature on information received, and researches or resolves issues following prescribed procedures.

Specific Position Requirements :

Administers and performs tasks necessary to perfect, continue and terminate Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings for multiple product lines. Prepares collateral perfection documentation applying appropriate guidelines. Initiates and coordinates lien searches with county or state agencies; reads and interprets lien search results to identify prior lien holders and obtains needed subordination; coordinates related filings with county or state agencies and determines lien holder status. Reviews file to verify that all perfection requirements have been met prior to documentation preparation. Liaison with external counsel, and state and local governments. Handles internal and external inquiries; researches and answers questions within prescribed guidelines. Provides back-up to other Lien Perfection Associates and Uniform Commercial Code(UCC)Specialists. May manage broadform financing statement process which includes filing, notification, and lien searches. May generate and distribute various perfection reports on a regular basis or initiate and prepare updating of internal norms and procedures regarding lien perfection.

Specialized skills, knowledge and abilities needed to perform the essential functions of the job. Knowledge of legal and compliance issues governing a process or set of processes. Performs more complex functions, understands principles, may teach others. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. - Yes Knowledge of legal corporate structure, ideally including the structure of the client . Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge. Ability to handle multiple projects and/or tasks. - Yes Knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC)-Revised Article 9 or equivalent legislation. Performs more complex functions, understands principles, may teach others. Good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. - Yes


Formal education or training required to perform the essential functions of the job. Includes degrees, certifications, licenses and/or registration requirements. Degree in a Business/Management discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (1-2 years or equivalent)

Relevant Work Experiences:

Type and amount of experience necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. May include specific roles and/or an understanding of a particular function, organization, industry or product line. Administrative experience such as scheduling, planning, utilizing office equipment and other such clerical activities. - 1 - 3 years Experience working in customer service or related customer-oriented environment. - 1 - 3 years Experience in using Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, Project, and other Microsoft tools. - 1 - 3 years

Note :

1st shift - Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm 40 hours per week, Optional OT may be possible on occasion Worker will start remote, but must be fully onsite once the site opens back up.
