Actalent Mechanical Engineer in Johnston, Iowa

Description:

Work in project groups on concept development of new lab, production, or R/D machines for the entire organization. These will be one off machines, not mass produced. Develop project timeline Design in Solidworks new machines, or add features to existing machine Work on R/D prototype floor 35-40% of the time on the machine with the enhancements and update any chances in Solidworks and then building prototypes Collaborate with Software Engineers or Automation Engineers on features Work with site leaders once project is complete on implementation and then troubleshooting any issues
