Focused on providing expert care to people in the last stages of a life-limiting condition, our compassionate team of caregivers provide the best quality of life possible, through physical, spiritual, and emotional support that respects the patient’s wishes and ensures peace. We are also dedicated to each patient’s loved ones and family and strive to create a sense of community and comfort through compassionate care that extends to bereavement counseling and ongoing grief support.
Mercy Hospice House is seeking a stellar PRN Hospice RN with compassion and passion for assisting patients through their end of life journey at our in-patient facility in Johnston, IA!

Provides care and education to patients and their caregivers
Participates in the coordination of services with other disciplines and community resources as needed
Evaluates and revises care plans/assessments based on changes in patients and/or their environments
Participates in regular case conferences and in-service or special case orientations as needed and participates in on-call rotation.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Currently licensed to practice inIowa
One year of RN nursing experience required
