We are looking for a Welcome Center Greeter/Screener who will primarily facilitate our health screening process at the family and visitor entrance in our Johnston facility. This person would provide administrative support to ensure that families and visitors have a positive experience while completing the health screening process.When You'll WorkThis is a part-time position, working either a morning or afternoon shift, for the next 6-12 months.

  • Monday/Wednesday 7:15am - Noon

  • Tuesday/Thursday Noon - 5:30pm

  • Friday rotates between the morning/afternoon shift every other week

What You'll Do

  • Provide a positive guest service experience when interacting with families, staff, and visitors.

  • Ensure each visitor and family entering the building completes a health screening form.

  • Escort children from the parking lot to/from the building for appointments.

  • Provide support to visitors and families as they have questions about our safety protocol.

  • Direct visitors and families to appropriate destinations.

  • Sort and distribute mail for Human Resources.

  • Provide clerical/project support as directed by the Guest Services Supervisor.

What You'll Need

  • HS Diploma.

  • One to two years of administrative experience preferred.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with others, and foster effective relationships with staff, children, families, and community visitors.

  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
