Aventure Staffing Front Counter/Sales in Lakeside, Iowa

Front Counter/Sales

$16-19/hour

Monday-Friday, 7AM-4PM

A local leader in selling and distribution of agriculture parts is hiring a Front Counter/Sales Associate to join their team! This position works to ensure the customer service experience is personable and detail oriented for existing and new customer coming in to the store. Responsibilities:

  • Work with retail customers, both in-store and over the phone, to understand their needs.

  • High emphasis on both sales and customer service relationships with customers.

  • Process sales orders and invoice them to the correct customer accounts.

  • Learn all products we sell to improve customer experience and become an expert in our industry.

  • Make recommendations on the best parts and equipment available

  • Teach new customers on new products and special promotions as well as promote our products

  • Understand that our parts department is not just here to sell parts but we are also engaged in building long-term customer relationships.

  • Properly operate office equipment, handle payment transactions, and efficiently utilize computer operating systems

  • Assure that all materials leaving or entering our warehouse are properly accounted for.

  • Assist with inventory management, including shelving products and performing cycle counts

  • Maintain the inventory levels to assure that there are adequate quantities on hand of all stock

  • Work with the warehouse and ensure that all materials leaving or entering the warehouse are properly accounted for

  • Always keep parts counter and showroom neat and clean

  • Demonstrate a willingness to perform any daily task as assigned

Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is strongly preferred

  • Be able to identify and handle problems in a timely manner

  • Responds quickly to customer needs

  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office

  • Strong computer skills

  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner

  • Responds promptly to customer needs

  • Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations

  • Balances team and individual responsibilities

  • Treats people with respect; Upholds organizational values

  • Organizational Support - Follows policies and procedures

  • Observes safety and security procedures

  • Adapts to changes in the work environment

  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours a week with occasional overtime
