Position Overview:
The Clerk is based out of Bucky’s convenience store in Lawler, IA, and will be responsible for doing a variety of jobs including sales, cash register/tending, cooking, restocking, and more. The Clerk is a full OR part-time position that requires occasional weekends. This position reports to the Manager and has no supervisory responsibility.

Essential Duties and Functions:
Be prompt and timely for all assigned shifts, schedules, and projects
Actively participate in training or store meetings
Activate fuel pumps with gasoline or diesel fuel to specified levels
Collect cash payments from customers and make a change or charge purchases to customers’ credit cards and provide customers with receipts
Clean parking areas, offices, restrooms, or equipment and remove trash
Provide customers with information about local roads or highways
Restock and shelve incoming goods
Sell prepared food, groceries, or related items
Ensure the proper identification is obtained when selling alcohol, tobacco products, or lottery tickets
Provide friendly and courteous customer service
Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work
Position Requirements:
Consent to authorization of a pre-employment background check and drug test
Customer service oriented
Must be at least 16 years of age
Understand both written and verbal instructions
Basic mathematical skills (i.e. Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide)
