Wells Enterprises Reliability Engineer II in Le Mars, Iowa

Provides senior level leadership in leading a reliability focused teams in the development and operations of data driven analysis methodologies that provide early detection of asset health to aid in the prevention of premature failures of systems, assets and components. Drives the culture of Reliability to aid in the transformation of mindsets in the facilities maintenance and operational teams.

  • Is the Reliability Engineering expert resource for driving reliability programs and processes across multiple facilities while leveraging multiple layers of resources to achieve company reliability and operational goals.

  • Principle driver in the development and execution of the Design for Reliability (DFR) and the Early Equipment Management (EEM) strategies. Provides Leadership, management and mentoring of junior reliability engineers and analysts to enhance further capabilities and competencies.

  • Facilitates the use of the condition monitoring equipment and the software systems in all facilities to be used in the analysis and structure of the Reliability condition monitoring program. Facilitates the training of engineering and facility reliability staff on the technical aspects and the use of the predictive tools and software.

  • Provides expert system and process knowledge and is the go-to resource for all technical review and data acquisition. Provides expert data analysis and oversight of the reliability teams analysis practices and quality.

  • Coordinates the use of external technical resources and vendors to provide the needed reliability discipline type to best qualify the condition of the assets. Drives the use of reliability technologies across the Wells enterprise.

  • Works Directly with facility leadership in the coaching and training of Root Cause Analysis, Failure Modes and Effect Analysis, and other types of processes to mitigate failures. Provides a risk-based failure mitigation plans and programs and practices that enhance equipment reliability.

  • Delivers Reliability Centered and Total Cost of Ownership methodologies to our operational reliability programs to ensure the facilities drive waste out, while bringing reliability and quality into our processes.

  • Direct the continuous improvement of reliability technologies and processes through thought leadership and industry leading collaboration. Researches and recommends innovative strategies for the enhancement of Wells Reliability Programs.
