Description The Assembly Scheduler is responsible for the stockroom, parts picking, and related operations. Accountable for managing day-to-day operations to maximize production while maintaining a safe workplace, reducing costs, improving quality, and meeting customer requirements. Accountable for support of shipment schedules. Responsible for the release and coordination of assembly job orders. Accountable for the maintenance of accurate stockroom inventory counts. Responsibilities Coordination of the following activities: - Establish a safe working environment and demonstrate positive safety behaviors and attitude. - Resolve issues arising out of assembly stockroom. - Actively lead 6S program in area assigned. - Monitor and take steps to improve inventory accuracy within job function. - Manage printed assembly job orders - Review shortages of orders needed to be released and work with other departments to resolve shortages. - Review stockroom count discrepancies and make corrections to stockroom inventory levels as necessary. - Determine root cause of inaccuracies and put corrective actions in place. - Modify assembly job orders as required.
