UNITED BANK & TRUST Retail Banking Officer in MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa

The Retail Banking Officer is responsible for Personal Banker and Teller service quality, employee development, growth strategies and compliance with Bank regulations and policies. This individual will assure consistency in the delivery of customer service, and products/services through effective training across Retail Banking. Key Job ResponsibilitiesiTrain and assure Personal Bankers are consistently following bank policies, regulations and systems procedures with regard to account opening and servicing of accounts.iTrain employees on product and service knowledge, customer service and operational tasks.iCoach and mentor Personal Bankers, Teller Supervisor and Branch Manager on professional development, including effective implementation and execution of strategies to grow and expand customer relationships.iLead Personal Bankers and assist other Bank employees, as needed in proactive calling efforts to generate new business with prospects and existing customers.iAssure the consistent delivery of customer service in order to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.iIdentify process improvements and lead in implementation of new processes or procedures, providing training to Personal Bankers.iAssure confidentiality of customer information and adhere to all operational, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.iNetwork, develop partnerships, and actively participate in community organizations and activities (often leadership roles) acting to enhance the image of the organization.iMaintain knowledge in opening Deposit Accounts, Consumer Loans, HSAs, IRAs, electronic banking services, safe deposit boxes, credit cards and merchant services and back-up Personal Bankers as needed.iWork closely with the Senior Banking Officer to identify key strategies that drive the Company mission and vision. iEstablish and monitor key performance measures for Personal Bankers, and communicate results to the Senior Banking Officer.iHire and onboard new employees, determine salary increases, recommend promotions, manage performance improvement, prepare performance appraisals, and handle disciplinary actions.iCultivate a culture that supports our core values through innovation, creativity, teamwork and diversity.Requirements:Education & ExperienceiBachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field. Minimum 5 years supervisory experience required.
