Job Title: HR Coordinator

Department: Human Resources

Location: Muscatine

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee company and community special events for the team by coordinating committees, schedules and budgets

• Assist with hiring process and orientation of new temporary and Musco team members

• New Hire systems training

• Maintain data entry integrity for HR systems

• Be a resource to team members for any HR related issues

• Participate in recruitment efforts

• Assist with team member relations and exit interviews

• Participate in and support various HR projects and initiatives

• Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Two - Four year degree or 3-5 years of HR work experience

Job Specifications:

• Excellent oral, written and phone communication skills

• Understanding of company culture

• Proficient with Microsoft Office—Excel & Word

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to work with people across all levels

• Ability to adapt to change and be flexible

• Ability to work within a budget

• Able to work independently

• Creative, positive and detail oriented personality

• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects

• Ability to work with a variety of people in a confidential manner

• Basic knowledge of human resources laws
