Information Technology Applications SupportThe IT Business Applications Support Specialist acts as a cross-functional resource between programming and applications. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, service ticket management, monitoring daily tasks and failures, job scheduling, optical integration, testing, validation, reporting and assisting other staff as necessary to troubleshoot and resolve software operational issues.Pay Range: $19.95-$29.92Performs essential duties and responsibilities in the following areas which may include, but are not limited to those listed, and are subject to change:1.Adheres to the Credit Union's core values in serving with truth, trust, mentoring, openness, risk-taking, communication, giving credit, integrity, caring, and respect in carrying out the UICCU's mission and vision.2.Demonstrates positive member service while managing relationships with end users, business area leaders, and vendors to ensure deliverables exceed expectations.3.Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.4.Ensures confidentiality of member information.5.Plays a vital role in enriching the community by participating in community service organizations and/or Credit Union sponsored events, on an annual basis.6.Identifies, promotes, and evaluates idea driven solutions and innovations.7.Performs support as a tier 1 technician for service tickets as it relates to business applications.8.Conducts core processing operations based on documented action items which may include: updating of batch jobs, database builds, system purges, daily processing, statement submittal, monitoring of schedules, and failover processing.9.Performs basic oversight and support of ancillary business applications and reviewing logs.10.Assists in the customization of applications by implementing custom code developed by staff.11.Creates basic reports for all levels of staff as necessary.12.Possesses basic knowledge in regards to secure coding concepts. Has knowledge of commonly used programming concepts, practices and procedures.13.Adheres to the change management process for all changes made to core system(s).14.Provides back up for team members where needed.15.Other duties as assigned.1.Two year college degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field with emphasis on application development, or completion of a specialized course of study in a related field at a business or trade school, or completion of a specialized or extensive in-house training or apprentice program in a related field.2.One to twelve months of similar or related experience.3.Basic knowledge of PC software and systems; technical aptitude; and desire to learn.4.Ability to determine proper course of action based on pre-defined operational procedures and troubleshooting experience.5.Strong organizational skills and ability to follow up on assigned tasks and document activities.6.Ability to work with highly confidential information in a discretionary manner.7.Good analytical skills with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.8.Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.9.Ability to effectively and efficiently resolve problems.10.Ability to complete tasks with moderate supervision11.Must be bondable.12.Reports to work punctually, works all scheduled hours, and works overtime as necessitated by business demand.Apply Here: http://www.Click2apply.net/4k423k86mydnm8vyPI105473800
