It all starts with YOU!Position Overview:Responsible for the day-to-day production duties as assigned. Responsible for understanding, reading, completion and adherence to all GMPis (Good Manufacturing Practices), SOPis (Standard Operating Procedures), SSOPis (Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures), in addition to all other food safety/quality assurance audits to meet government/third-party auditors, and company regulations, including but not limited to FDA. Technicians are routinely required to perform a variety of tasks that require manual material handling and the use of hand tools, machinery, and equipment. This work is physically demanding and can require the use of some or all body parts and muscle groups. Good hand-eye coordination and upper extremity motor skills are essential for most job tasks. Additional essential functions/abilities may be applicable to specific jobs.Responsibilities include but not limited to:iEnsures all sanitation, equipment and facility cleaning, programs and documentation are met per guidelines Conducts required pre-op inspections to ensure equipment is clean prior to start of operation.iAdhere to company Lock Out /Tag Out and HACCP procedures.iRead and interpret Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and understand company requirement to comply with all directions for safe use or personal protective equipment requirements as listed on the MSDS.iEffectively communicate with Production, Warehouse, Maintenance and QA, focusing on conducting effective and timely sanitation of specific areas within the food processing environment and pieces of equipment.iWork with Sanitation Manager to develop procedures, techniques and tests for monitoring effectiveness of sanitation.iPerforms to assure cleaning of food equipment and food processing environment is conducted per SOP requirements.iPerforms Routine Sanitation work including but not limited to area assessment, organization, cleaning, sanitizing, and auditing.iUnder direction of Sanitation Manager, generate work orders, tool checklists, and chemical control.iAssist with the documentation maintenance of the Master Sanitation Schedule and other operations-related GMPsiResponsible to report all food safety issues to an immediate supervisoriClean equipment and plant with the use of a high-pressure hose, other cleaning equipment and chemicals Attend required meetings and training, including but not limited to: GMPis, HAACP, Safety, and SSOPisBenefits Overview-not limited to:iAbove average starting wagesiPerformance evaluationsiMerit increasesiHealth Insurance, Dental, Vision and MoreAPPLY TODAY and ABILITY TO START ASAP 605-799-1301
