OGDEN COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT TAG Teacher, Grades 6-12, 0.5 FTE in Ogden, Iowa
Ogden Community Schools has an opening for a MS/HS TAG Teacher, 0.5 FTE starting with the 24-25 school year.
We are looking for a candidate with enthusiasm and one who is an innovative thinker.
Qualifications and expectations include:
- Being responsibile for understanding and knowledge of strategies and systems to address the needs of gifted students
- Supporting enrichment and extension of the standards for gifted students in the regular classroom
- Providing professional learning to teachers and staff in the area of gifted learners
- Being able to analyze student achievement data to create individualized learning plans to meet student needs
- Working collaboratively with classroom teachers and staff
- Building positive relationships with students, families and colleagues
Candidates must be appropriately licensed through the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners and hold or be eligible to obtain Endorsement 107, PK - 12 Talented and Gifted. Coaching opportunities may also be available.
