The University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking anAssistant DirectorOffice of Financial Support/ScholarshipThe Assistant Director serves as VA School Certifying Official for Post 9-11 GI Bill Chapter 33 benefit and Chapter 31 benefit. This position is the expert on student debt management, teaming with Cashiering/Student Accounts (CSA) and the Veterans Administration (VA) to improve processes for impacted students. In addition, this position will work directly with the Associate Director, Financial Support and Scholarships, to assist with the management of the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) program, including reviewing and making decisions on SAP appeals, collecting appropriate documentation, and helping manage the end of the semester SAP process and notify students of their status. The Assistant Director is also responsible for administration of the Federal Work Study Program.
