POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
POSITION: Laundry Technician
LOCATION: Ottumwa, IA
SALARY CLASS : Salary Non-Exempt
Division/Department: Pork
Responsibilities:
Run industrial washers and dryers
Heavy Lifting
Maintain store room/laundry area in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition
Collect, and redistribute supplies to employees
Data/order entry with accuracy
Provide backup for Knife Room Attendant/Store Room Attendant
Perform various duties as assigned
Working Conditions:
Production and maintenance settings
Exposure to various chemicals, machinery and knives
Slippery floors, extreme temperature and loud noises (PPE required in these areas)
Education:
- High School degree or equivalent required
Requirements Preferred :
Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and competent in organizational, time management skill
Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to work under pressure
Great customer service skills and professional demeanor
Computer knowledge required
