Responsible to communicate this information to the Center Director and appropriate staff.Ensures that the Center maintains the highest level of Data Integrity in all reporting of Center statistics and metrics.Builds a continuing relationship with community leaders, local employers, social and civic organizations.Ensures the Center Director abreast of all pertinent matters regarding students, staff, safety and other issues that require collaboration.Develops and maintains open lines of communication with staff to provide a free flow of information to the Center Director.Conducts regular departmental staff meetings and in-service training sessions.May be responsible for planning and managing departmental budgets, making sure spending is under control and funds are wisely utilized.Responsible for the safe operation of assigned center functions and also the safety of the students.Prepares and conducts staff performance evaluations.Conduct interviews when there are direct report vacancies in respective areas, and recommends staff for hire in a timely manner.Minimum:Bacheloris Degree. Five (5) years of experience in Job Corps Program Management. Ability to manage Six (6) areas of responsibilities which consist of Outreach/Admission and Career Transition Services, Academics, Career Technical Training, Residential Living, Recreation and Counseling, Must have experience in a minimum of three (3) of these areas; Academics, Career Technical Training and Residential Living. Capable of creating an environment where student retention and placement are also main focus points.Experience working with youth, preferably, youth ages 16 i 24.Preferred: Masteris degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with the programis targeted population, in a residential setting.General Information:iIn order to perform the essential job functions of this position, the candidate is expected to have regular work attendance.Knowledge Required:iKnowledge of working with young adults in education, training, and a residential living environment, including being familiar with Academics and Career Technical Training.
