TITLE:

Coach

QUALIFICATIONS:

Credentials as required by state law

Working familiarity and/or experience with specific sport

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and

acceptable.

Building Principal/Activities Director

JOB GOAL:

To help each participating student achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline and sportsmanship, and an increased level of self-esteem, following the Coaches Handbook.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.

Coaches individual participants in a particular sport using appropriate coaching strategies and techniques that can be used to improve the athlete and the activity.

2.

Enforces discipline and sportsmanlike behavior at all times and establishes and oversees penalties for breach of such standards by individual students. Provides standards and procedures in writing to the students.
