Secondary skills should include experience in other maintenance areas for maintaining, repairing, and/or replacing physical equipment in the plant safely, correctly, and efficiently. The incumbents will work in the plant's Work Management Information System (WMIS) to execute preventative and predictive maintenance on plant equipment, documenting the results in a CMMS system.Job Description:* Ensures safety and reliability of rotating equipment. Develop and executes preventative and predictive technologies in the facility* Obtain certification in 1 predictive technology in any given year. Minimum requirements are level I for ultrasound; level II for thermography within 2 years of this position starting. Vibration level II certification will be completed within 3 years. MLT II certification within 3 years.* Responsible for prioritizing maintenance activities; while developing and maintaining working relationships with the many diverse "customers" who compete for attention and needed maintenance resources* Monitors vibration collection systems and portable collection databases*Understand and utilize PdM Technologies (Lubrication, Ultrasonic, Thermography, and Vibration Analysis) to condition monitor and predict equipment failures in a proactive maintenance environment. * Works engineering to facilitate outside services as needed for any preventative maintenance activities on equipment; which also includes coordinating with safety and security personnel to assure that outside contractors and vendors adhere to CF's procedures and provide a smooth transition when entering and exiting the plant site* Works with Procurement and outside suppliers as required* Maintains, and updates as necessary, a Preventative and Predictive Maintenance program* Assists in developing the criteria for preventative maintenance frequencies in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager, Mechanical Engineers, and Planners* Troubleshoots equipment problems and recommends solutions as appropriate*Participates in "On Call" RotationSuccessful incumbents will have:* Have a two year Associate Degree in Mechanical Technology (or equivalent), plus at least one (1) year of experience, or* Have a minimum of five (5) years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience or manufacturing operational experience* Level 2 Thermography, MLT II, Level I Ultrasonic, CMRT, Cat II Vibration a plus but not required* Ability to read blue print drawings and P&ID's is required* Be a self-starter, be able to work effectively with minimal supervision, and good organizational and planning skills,* Willingness to learn new job-related skills, and have good troubleshooting and analytical skills.CF Industries is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
