Responsibilities

The Account Executive - Resale is responsible for selling products and services primarily to existing key clients, but also to potential clients, and for introducing the company's full range of products, solutions, and services to key executives and staff of a target list of companies as defined by sales management. Contribution is expected to include the support of the business unit and effective collaboration within the entire organization in partnership with assigned Sales Specialists, Solution Architects and Hosting Services AE counterparts, in order to achieve organization goals. The key responsibilities of this position include the following:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and account team members.
  • Gather opportunity requirements and participate in technical solution design.
  • Develop and deliver professional presentations, correspondence, and responses to RFPs.
  • Create and articulate well-structured sales proposals and sales contracts based on customer needs and desires.
  • Maintain sales CRM database of established and prospective clients. Adhere to defined sales processes and procedures.
  • Pursue new customer relationships as necessary.

NOTE: This position may be hired at the Account Executive or Sr. Account Executive level given the skills/experience of the candidate and business needs.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years professional work experience
  • 2+ years technical sales experience
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and insurance
  • Ability to travel as business needs dictate

Other Qualifications:

  • Prior experience selling technology products, IT services and/or solving technical solutions a strong plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Self-directed, self-motivated team player
  • Energetic, with a competitive spirit and a results-driven, goal-oriented attitude
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Curiosity and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to rapidly changing environment
  • Integrity and ethical behavior
