Description We are offering a contract opportunity for an Office Assistant in Sioux City, Iowa, United States. The individual will be primarily situated at the greeter station of a testing site, aiding in the administration of various web-based credentialing or certification tests. This role encompasses tasks such as assisting candidates with check-ins, ensuring adherence to test rules, and maintaining the integrity of the testing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the greeter station, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process for test candidates

• Conduct security checks to prevent unauthorized materials, such as calculators or notes, from entering the testing area

• Regularly monitor the testing site to prevent cheating, with frequent walks through the area

• Operate web-based testing systems to initiate and conclude tests as needed

• Use specific system applications to effectively manage the testing process

• Respond to emails and other forms of communication promptly and professionally

• Perform light administrative tasks as required

• Verify the identity of test candidates to maintain test integrity

• Utilize automated testing tools effectively

• Provide necessary administrative assistance when needed Requirements • Candidate must have a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role or relevant field.

• Proficiency in automated testing is necessary.

• Experience in identity verification processes is required.

• Proven track record of administrative assistance is essential.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Proficient in using office software such as MS Office, Google Docs, etc.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment.

• Good problem-solving skills and proactive in finding solutions.

• High school diploma or equivalent is a minimum educational requirement.
