A local construction company is searching for a Project Superintendent to join their growing team! This position with Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm (occasional work out of town). Starting pay is $70k-$85k DOE.
Project Superintendent Responsibilities:
Ensure that the construction work is completed safely, on time, within budget and falls within Company’s quality standards
Establish and maintain good safety and security practices for the entire project in accordance with Company’s safety program
Help train new personnel, verifying their capabilities & ensure they are meeting expectations
Complete construction projects by planning, organizing, and controlling the job site; completing quality inspections; supervising sub-contractors and staff
Coordinate with subcontractors in order to get sufficient equipment and personnel necessary to complete the construction work on time
Prepare schedules, assign work to all construction personnel at the site and communicate with the project manager as necessary to reduce any risks associate with the job
Keep Project Manager informed as to changes made in the field
Determine work methods which results in improved efficiency and productivity at the job site
Ensure all reports, documents, records, timesheets, and invoices are completed properly and on time
Schedule and expedite the delivery of materials and equipment for their timely on-site installation
Obtain or ensure that subcontractors obtain, all necessary permits for temporary and construction purposes

To become a Project Superintendent you’ll need:
High School Diploma / GED
Minimum of 10 years in the Construction Field
Strong Driving Record
Current OSHA 30hr Certification – Preferred
Degree in Construction – Preferred
Must have construction supervisory experience
Must have strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence, inspire & motivate others
Computer Literate
