Job Description:

Join the Mark Johnson American Family Insurance Agency team in Sioux City, IA!

Sales representative candidates must have the ability to develop knowledge of the local market, prospect for new business and use consultative selling techniques.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • One year of experience in a sales environment, preferably including marketing, prospecting, cold calling, networking, preparing quotes and delivering presentations

  • Property and Casualty insurance license is preferred before starting and is required after beginning employment

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly pay rate plus commission and/or bonuses

  • Paid training

  • Paid Time Off

Additional Job Information:

  • This is an in agency opportunity

  • $15.00-$16.00 Plus Bonus & Commission

  • Monday-Thursday 8:30AM-5:30PM

  • Friday 8:30AM-5PM

  • Agency will reimburse the expense of P&C and L&H Licensing

  • Must secure P&C upon 30 days from Date of Hire

  • Dental/Vision/PTO/401k
