Our client is seeking a Commerical Loan Officer to join their team as a perm employee. As a Commercial Loan Officer, you will execute all facets of lending operations for agricultural, commercial, and consumer clients, including prospecting and servicing both new and current customers. Oversees the commercial/business banking program and fulfills deposit responsibilities as needed, including the opening and maintenance of accounts.

Job Title: Commercial Loan Officer

Location: Clay County, IA

Pay Range: $90,000 to $110,000 base salary depending upon experience.

What’s the Job?

• Manages the creation and administration of loan portfolios, overseeing every aspect from application to approval, collection, and liquidation of accounts, while also expanding the portfolio. Collaborates within a team setting with other officers on intricate credits and conducts individual loan analysis tasks.

• Oversees the bank's Commercial Banking services encompassing Business Banking, remote capture, credit card services, and more.

• Performs teller duties as required, handling currency, processing deposits and loan payments, and providing account balances.

• Handles loan processing and support tasks, such as obtaining credit reports, processing applications, analyzing data, preparing loan documentation, and managing loan document filing.

• Engages in community activities on behalf of the bank, participating in community events, serving as an active leader, and joining service clubs.

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related major or experience

• Computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and Windows based applications.

• Over 10 years commercial lending experience
