Perform tasks involving physical labor at the construction site.
Cut, shape, and smooth lumber for slabs on grade, suspended slabs, columns, and vertical slip formed walls.
Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
Read blueprints, take measurements, and calculate size and amounts of material needed.
Operate hand and power tools of all types, including air hammers, pneumatic nail guns, SkilSaws, miter saws, etc.
Assist other craft workers.
Proven experience as carpenter.
Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.
Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.).
Follow safety guidelines at all times.
Good understanding of basic math.
Good physical condition and endurance.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
May include other duties as needed.
Must abide by ALL of the company's field safety rules.
Slipform concrete and equipment installation experience preferred.
Pre-employment, post-offer drug screen and physical required.
