Technology Director
About the Role: The Technology Director plays a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant and effective technology environment for our school district. As a visionary leader, this person will be responsible for managing all aspects of our district's technology infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation and alignment with our educational goals. Reports to the Superintendent of Schools. 220 Day Contract @ $60,000-$70,000 based on experience Responsibilities:
Leadership and Vision:
- Continuously assess technology needs and develop short and long-range plans for acquisition and utilization.
- Champion technology literacy through staff development and training opportunities.
- Collaborate with the District Leadership Team to guide the district's technology vision.
Technology Infrastructure and Support:
- Oversee the management and support of all district-controlled technology, including devices, networks, printers, and servers.
- Implement system upgrades and ensure software licenses are current.
- Provide user support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Maintain and repair hardware or arrange repairs when necessary.
- Ensure data integrity and network security.
