We are currently looking to add to our team an exciting opportunity as an Executive Assistant & Office Manager. The purpose of this position is to coordinate schedules and organize projects for members of senior leadership at GBL.

The Executive Assistant & Office Manager is part of a team but will work independently as well.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule meetings for senior leadership and coordinate staff trainings

  • Organize projects for leadership members and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner by all involved

  • Supervise main reception area and maintain staffing levels

  • Handle all time off requests for GBL employees and prepare timecards for payroll on a regular basis

    Education and/or Experience:

  • Experience working in the health insurance industry preferred

  • At least five years of management experience preferred

  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality required

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook

    Other Qualifications:

  • Superb organization and communication skills required

  • Self-motivated and driven

  • Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to work with and meet deadlines

  • Demonstrate excellent time management and prioritization skills

  • Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy

  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information

  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude
