Operations Manager

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Operations Manager, are to:

  • Embrace and demonstrate a safety-first culture at all times;

  • Be accountable for safe and timely delivery of seed cassettes based on demand while maintaining efficient operations;

  • Be responsible for daily/weekly/monthly production planning and scheduling, based on raw material availability, and communication from site partners;

  • Partner with Import/Export teams for efficient movement of materials internationally;

  • Embrace an environment that promotes the building of good working relationships within the site and site partners;

  • Create, update, implement and administer Standard Operating Procedures and safety procedures;

  • Communicate with customers and key stakeholders;

  • Manage raw material inventories and supplies;

  • Be able to adapt quickly to changes in our business, courageously face new challenges and opportunities and leverage the talents, skills and resources of team members and peers (crops include corn, soybean, cotton).

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least three years of work-related experience in Agriculture, Supply Cain, or Manufacturing;

  • Valid Driver’s License in order to be eligible to drive a company car, driving record must meet guidelines based on the company’s Risk Screening for Hiring Drivers and MVR will be reviewed as part of pre-employment screening;

  • Be able to critically think about the business;

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

  • Have availability to meet overtime demands, including occasional work on weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, or Engineering.
