Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the completion of applications required for DHS contract including CCA and New Registration applications, QRS applications, and data entry for the CCR&R databases

  • Market services CCR&R provides region-wide

  • Establish and maintain a community outreach and promotional program regarding quality child care

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to speak, read and write in English.

  • Ability to work effectively with child care providers

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple agencies

  • Demonstrated leadership skills

  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and overnights and travel as necessary within the region and state

  • Ability to plan, facilitate, and lead events, training sessions, and meetings

  • General word processing and computer knowledge

  • Demonstrated ability to work with data systems using data to support reporting of work products and inform planning

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in human services, early childhood/elementary education, or related field plus two (2) years' experience in a child care setting OR

  • Combination of related education and experience equal to four (4) years

  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
