If you have a passion for empowering some of Iowa's most vulnerable kids, Lutheran Services in Iowa is looking for you. Join our team at LSI's Bremwood Residential Treatment Center in Waverly by becoming a temporary full time Overnight Lead Youth Associate! Many of the children we serve have experienced trauma or adverse experiences. It's our job and our privilege to empower them toward success.
Hours: Overnight Lead Associates will be expected to work overnight shifts. Will also be part of an on-call rotation. This position will be a 24 month occupancy.
Duties
Overnight Lead Youth Associates work directly with the children on campus, providing them with structure and support in their daily lives. Every day, you can give these children with the safe, positive, and therapeutic environment they need to thrive. The Lead Youth Associate's responsibilities include:
Create structured and organized living environment
Ensuring program guidelines
Completing appropriate documentation, such as daily logs
Successfully coordinate, supervise, and assist with nighttime and morning routines for the residential unit

Qualifications
Candidates must have a high school diploma, or a GED and six months full time human service-related work experience.
This position requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, a good driving record, and the ability to pass an extensive background check, including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, the Sex Offender registry, and the criminal history check.
