MaxYield Cooperative is a leading agricultural cooperative providing innovative solutions to our clients in Northwest and North Central Iowa. We?re seeking the right individual to join our team as a Custom Applicator Trainee. You will be responsible for vital agronomic solutions and services to our clients in various ways, including:
Custom application of crop nutrients, crop protection products, and lime
Operate dry fertilizer and liquid facilities
Perform Equipment maintenance
Manage seed warehouses and treat seed
MaxYield Cooperative is passionate about the valuable learning that takes place in a successful trainee opportunity. Other opportunities and experiences will also occur, which may include:
Actively-involved mentor(s)
Comprehensive company onboarding and safety training
Learn agronomy operations, including facility and tender operations
Assist with and learn grain and energy operations
Learn agronomy and crop protection products and how they work
Attend agronomy and MaxYield educational sessions
Job shadows with Seed Solutions Specialists, Agronomy Specialists, and SciMax Specialists (precision agriculture)
Other opportunities as the season, time, and your interests allow
You do not need to have past agronomy experience, but you must have a strong willingness to learn throughout the trainee program.
Custom Applicators can anticipate a wage range of $42,000 - $64,000 per year, which includes paid overtime, bonuses and depends on experience and acres applied.
