GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Responsible for analyzing, specifying, and validating the business needs of various internal customers. This includes communicating with stakeholders and defining user requirements to the development team throughout the product life cycle as well as managing the project. Precise documentation will be necessary to track and manage the progress of projects. This position will also be involved with improving business processes for different departments as necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for medium project analysis (20 to 80 hours).

  • Charts existing business processes in order to define current business activities for the development of procedures and models.

  • Prototypes new procedures for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow.

  • Prepares and delivers reports, recommendations, or alternatives for improving processes in operating systems across the organization.

  • Researches various business processes for improving efficiency and quality at the departmental and organizational level.

  • Performs cost-benefit and return on investment (ROI) analyses for proposed changes to aid management in making implementation decisions.

  • Creates and deploys feedback mechanisms for end users. Analyzes results, makes recommendations for support process improvement, and implements changes.

  • Defines requirements and specifications for users with all related design ideas and completes documentation.

  • Researches, reviews, and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements gathering processes and develops strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these.

  • Works with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements.

  • Identifies and establishes scope and parameters of process analysis in order to define impact, outcome criteria, and measure-taking actions.

  • Submits project plans to be approved by manager, follows up with necessary communication as needed.

  • Manages projects and follows up with requirements as necessary to ensure scheduled delivery time of the product. Enforces and redefines as needed.

  • Evaluates documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent repeated future problems.

  • Meets with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business and operations requirements and systems goals.

  • Assists in conducting research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.

  • Researches issues for Quality Assurance, business users, and development teams.

  • Communicates with QA, business users, and development teams on project requests.

  • Assists in beta testing or testing first release on projects.

  • Queries and analyzes data.

  • Support of current systems and any new that may be implemented

  • Project management duties as necessary

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; and 4 or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have specific experience overseeing the design, development and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems or products.

Experience with Informatica, Azure and Microservices, is a plus

Knowledge of OPUS and/or LifePro for Software testing is a plus.
