Title: Compensation and Benefits ManagerType: Full-Time/ExemptReports to: Human Resources DirectorResponsibilities:Work with the Human Resources team to lead all initiatives in the areas of total compensation, ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, and all other areas of the human resource function.Manage the company health and welfare plans, retirement and savings plans, and salary/wage and incentive programs.Understand Wright Service Corp. compensation and benefits practices and assist in developing and maintaining competitive compensation and benefits strategiesManage benefits administration to include evaluation and management of total benefits package, communication, utilization, and renewalsContinually administer and update benefit summaries, relevant compensation and benefits information in the employee handbook, and other published compensation and benefits toolsDevelop relationships with all third-party benefit providers to maintain or enhance service levelsWork with health / welfare and retirement and savings plan vendors on all required benefit filings, census production and regulatory requirementsCoordinate the annual audit of all retirement plansCoordinate with Finance on company ESOP and DSU plan eligibility and distributionsManage administration of leave programs, including long term disability, short term disability, and FMLA/ADA managementManage time off plans and coordinate annual holiday schedulesAssist the Human Resources Director to establish a pay philosophy and develop compensation programs in support of itHandle compensation market analysis and reporting process and ensure the delivery of appropriate competitive pay survey data to meet business objectivesMaintain salary/wage structures with annual market review and adjustmentsManage annual merit review process and assist with annual bonus program processesDeliver compensation advice on job evaluations and pay recommendations as appropriateDevise a plan to provide total compensation statements to employees through broker connections or HRIS systemAssist the Human Resources Director in annual budget preparation in the areas of compensation and benefitsManaging and tracking employee compensation and benefit-related costs while staying within a pre-set budgetConduct appropriate employee training to include benefits enrollment training and best practices training for managers regarding compensation management.Drive benefits and compensation participation in the new employee orientation program to foster a positive attitude towards company programsAdminister appropriate policies, practices, and processes in compliance with state and federal laws relating to compensation and benefitsOther duties may be assigned as necessaryRequirements:Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Finance, or related required. World at Work CCP, HRCI PHR/SPHR, SHRM- SHRM-CPS/CP preferredEight years salary and benefits program administration experience requiredTwo years managerial experience highly preferredExperience with self-insured health plans, annual renewals, benefits communication, and analysisExperience working with a benefits broker, service providers and TPAsExperience in salary administration including annual market competitive analysis, salary/wage structure adjustments, job evaluation and pay equity reviewsExperience with enterprise HRIS solutions (Workday preferred) specific to salary and benefit administration, including open enrollment, vendor file integrations, annual merit increase reviews, salary/wage structure management, annual bonus award distribution, total compensation statements and the likeStrong business insight and data modelling skills.
