As the company's second line of defense, Corporate Risk — or Independent Risk Management — provides independent oversight of risk-taking activities. Independent Risk Management establishes and maintains Wells Fargo's risk management program and provides oversight, including challenges to and independent assessment of, the frontline's execution of its risk management responsibilities. We manage risk according to the Risk Management Framework and ensure all employees understand their individual accountability for managing risk.
The Loss Forecasting team seeks an experienced consumer credit associate with demonstrated achievement in analyzing credit trends, using models and analytical tools to predict expectations for delinquency and credit loss. Responsible for completing loss forecasts, monitoring and ad-hoc analysis for real estate originations.
This position will be responsible for:
Produce monthly loss forecast
Produce Stress Test loss credit forecast
Assist in model back test, UAT and implementation
Contribute on reporting and requests for audits and exams
Increase automation of existing processes where possible
Partner with loss forecast control team
Enhance production process documentation to ensure consistent execution, avoid errors and provide for cross training of new team members
5+ years of experience in risk role
3+ years of SQL or SAS experience
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
