General Job Summary:
The Housekeeping team are required to perform housekeeping and cleaning functions within the facility. They are responsible for working in and around patient care areas and in the common areas of the facility.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Housekeeping team are responsible for the following duties and responsibilities which are considered essential functions of the position.
Clean resident rooms, hallways and office areas as assigned.
Clean entrances and exits according to established procedures.
Maintain resident information and Pine Acres internal affairs in strict confidence.
Follow Pine Acres policies concerning personal grooming, appearance and appropriate dress code requirements.
Qualifications:Education
Must possess the ability to read, write, speak and follow written and oral instructions in English. High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
Work Experience
Some institutional housekeeping experience is preferred, but not required. On the job training will be provided.
Work Experience
Experience in housekeeping preferred.
Physical Activity Requirements:
Lifting Requirements
The housekeeper is frequently called upon to lift 25 pounds.
Other Physical Requirements
Housekeeper will regularly be expected to stand, sit, and walk.
