Major responsibilities

  • Buy high volume of letters, memoranda, invoices, and other indexed documents within specified guidelines

  • Carry out clerical tasks like word processing, filing, scanning, archiving, and faxing

  • Note, heap, and/or distribute mail and packages

  • Release data within allotted time frames

  • Be able to wield mail processing equipment

  • Hold up optimal machine performance by troubleshooting simple problems (clearing jams, refilling toner, replacing machine oil, etc.)

  • Lend a hand to employees complete diverse projects as necessary

  • Check in and sort all incoming mail and packages from various carriers

  • Fend off assembly errors by maintaining an organized work station


  • experienced in mail processing at organizational level

  • Execute general clerical operations tasks that are routine and/or repetitive in nature

  • Vow to meet business deadlines

  • 1+ years of prior experience working in a high-volume mailroom setting

  • Must have excellent time management skills

  • Adeptness in Basic Math Skills

  • Command of mail processing

  • Comprehensive knowledge of mailrooms

  • Alpha 6,000 - 8,000 kph experience highly desired

  • Proficiency in Inventory Reports

  • Foundational knowledge in filing

  • This most important thing for any applicant to this position is to be flexible and focused

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Proficient in handling office equipment
