The Data Integration Tech Lead builds and maintains effective software applications that assist the company in minimizing administrative costs.


  • Lead technical and application design, delivery and operational support for Data Integration.

  • Manage third party contract resources in a hybrid onshore/offshore environment.

  • Oversee completion of technical deliverables through Athene’s Agile Methodology and associated ceremonies.

  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog and story grooming, sprint refinement, daily standups, sprint retrospectives and sprint demos.

  • Provide technical advice to senior IT management and Project Managers, assisting them with high level planning or issue resolution.

  • Understand and adhere to Athene technical standards

  • Understand and co-manage Athene's technical DI roadmap in accordance with overall technical direction and expectations.

  • Understand and manage technical vendor relationships and performance.

  • Coach and develop team members from a technical perspective.

  • Monitor and evaluate productivity, quality and effectiveness of TCS and UST team members from a Technical perspective.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 6+ years of application development experience.

  • Expert knowledge of large-scale internal software applications or related technologies.

  • Ability to function as a strategic partner within a team.

  • Ability to lead teams in completing complex projects and initiatives.

  • Advanced in Project Management and SDLC processes.

  • A strong sense of teamwork and ability to both lead and execute programs.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems A nalysis or equivalent work experience.
