We produce and mail 535 million pieces annually using seamless programs that handle the printing, mailing of promotions, acknowledgements, bills, renewals and more.What You Will Do as Human ResourceGeneralist 1SUMMARYUnder general direction, provides functional support in various areas of Human Resources, including but not limited to recruitment and employment, processing job evaluations, salary administration, employment records, benefits administration, training, leaves of absence and special projects.Our Wilton and Tipton facilities operatethree shifts and run five days a week so may be required to adjust working hours to.accommodate employee or training needs.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMaintains confidentiality of CDS Global and its clients proprietary information.Assists with a wide variety of programs in various human resources functional areas.Assist with recruitment Conducts onboarding with new hires.Assists managers with payroll and timekeeping entry as needed.May process a variety of paperwork by reviewing, routing and scanning to appropriate recipients.Assists employees with benefit question. Processes related paperwork.May coordinate FMLA and Disability leaves of absence.Maintains all necessary records and files for reporting and/or auditing purposes.Provides appropriate communications and promotes employee understanding of programs, policies and objectives.Prepares and distributes reports as needed.Under general direction, performs work that is more complex and varied in nature, requiring evaluation, originality and/or ingenuity.Interacts in cooperative and professional manner with all employees, clients and/or vendors in team-oriented environment.Organizes tasks and resources to complete work and meet deadlines according to established departmental procedures.Follows all CDS Global ergonomic and safety policies.May need to travel between our Wilton and Tipton facilities which would require access to transportation, a valid drivers license, proof of safe driving record and active insurance.ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTravels to other sites as needed.Performs additional duties as required or requested.EDUCATION AND/OR CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND LICENSINGBachelors Degree or equivalent.Two years of human resources experience preferred.Knowledge of employment law to include FLSA, Title VII, ADA, FMLA and EEOC.Average PC knowledge/skills; experience with current word processing and match software.Strong communication and human relations skills necessary for frequent internal and external contacts.Above average written and verbal communication skills.Able to take initiative and follow through with assigned tasks.Basic math skills.Able to deal with multiple and/or conflicting demands in a successful manner.Ale to meet scheduled deadlines.Able to react to change and remain productive.WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Continuous = 67-100% of workday, Frequent = 34-66% of workday, Occasional = 6-33% of workday, Rare = 1-5% of workday)WORKING CONDITIONSInside: 100% Outside: 0% Continuous -Normal office environment.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS(Continuous = 67-100% of workday, Frequent = 34-66% of workday, Occasional = 6-33% of workday, Rare = 1-5% of workday)Continuous -Sitting, Eye/Hand coordination, Visual Acuity of 20/40 or better up to 20.
