Join our team at Woodward Resource Center (WRC) as a Resident Treatment Technician. As part of the WRC team, you'll:
Ensure the rights of individuals are respected and upheld.
Instruct, lead, direct, and monitor work tasks of individuals to ensure quality work.
Provide continuous active treatment programs to promote independence.
Instruct individuals and shape behaviors in the areas of work, social, and interpersonal behaviors so individuals learn acceptable conduct necessary for successful community integration.
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment for individuals.
Complete administrative procedures to enhance the WRC mission.
Assist individuals in developing person-centered Individual Support Plans (ISPs).
Interact with individuals with sensitivity, dignity, and respect.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
Experience equal to eighteen months of full time work as a nursing or therapeutic assistant in a health care facility or other facility for the intellectually disabled, mentally ill, elderly, physically ill or disabled;
OR
any equivalent combination of education and experience substituting one year of post high school education (thirty semester hours or equivalent academic units) with an emphasis in nursing and/or the social or behavioral sciences for one year of experience to a maximum substitution of one year.
